Orientation Week is a project which main purpose is to integrate among students and help them with first moments in new college. This venture takes place during the last week of September, when ESN members with newly arrived Erasmus students take part in pre-planned events. By taking a part in this project, students gain a unforgettable memories and valuable knowledge about living in Cracow and our culture.
The first day has started with organization meeting (where each student had an opportunity, to obtain Welcome pack). Then, just right after organized guided tour around our Campus we went to see Kazimierz Jewish District. Evening ended with a language tandem with karaoke, where every Erasmus student could prove their music talent. We had so much fun! After that, we have moved to Base club for a Traffic lights party.
Next day we have started with City Games. Students could get to know the city by taking a part with various contests. After that, there were three optional activities: Laser Tag, Chocolate Workshops and Scary House. Each of it gained a lot of interest from Erasmus students. For evening we’ve planned Balloon Flight and a next party.
On a third day students, could sleep a little bit longer and regenerated to have an energy to participate in new events. We have started with City Games. In the afternoon we all went for a Vistula cruise. Racing boats will stay in our minds for very long time!
Our next stop, was a tramparty which was truly legendary!
The last day started with City Games and sightseeing Kazimierz for other groups.
In the evening we all met in Eurodinner, during which foreign students could show typical food from their countries. We have also prepared something delicious for them- well-known polish dishes. When everybody was already full, we had opportunity to listen the concert of very talented girls. We have spended an amazing time and couldn’t wait for more attractions in the Integration Camp!
We’re so thankful for having chance to organize this amazing project and help Erasmus students during their first steps in new environment.
